No they didn't. That was no war crime, only atrocity. There was no legal framework to call it a war crime. The Soviet Union refused to sign the Geneva Convention. Just saw it yesterday. Not one German was shown until the very end, when one of the English pilots was captured, and even then, they didn't speak. Even if the intent of the film was to show it from a totally British perspective, the Germans were still dehumanized by not even being shown.

Overall, decent movie though. I thought it would be better.
