EU nuclear force incoming - Brussels suggest to take over French

Since the 1960s, the French nuclear arsenal has been kept at levels sufficient to kill about 40 percent of the Russian population. Since Russia remains the only threat to the Union, the French force seems adequate to the challenge. But the devil is in the details. An internal EU paper on European military integration proposes to use the French nuclear force as the core for the new EU nuclear force, increasing its operational capabilities and ICBM count by 250%.
