Artificially create hard times for the younger children. Maybe competitions starting from 15-25 that decide your place in life. You just need for people to feel like if they dont work hard and put in all their effort that they will be doomed to a horrible life in the future. So no safety nets. Sure its immoral and cruel, but so would letting your country die because you allowed people to grow decadent.

once I realized I was screwed if I didnt find something to do with my life I put in effort. If I felt like I could just get a free house and food stamps and live like that then where would be the point to working at all.

You literally cannot. That is a utopian ideal that can never work just based on human nature and entropy.

Anything that exists must eventually come to an end.

And besides, no matter how "perfect" the society may seem to you, there will ALWAYS be regression to a totalitarian oligarchic rule based on the fact there is always power hungry people who will do whatever it takes to subvert the system to their advantage (or just design it that way).

If Mohammedans could stop killing each other and became ordered they could be a force to be reckoned with. Thankfully they hate each other more than they hate infidels so they'll be fighting each other and declaring each other kufar even if they managed to.

Thats the problem with declaring the Koran the last word of god. There can be no reform, there can be no heresy, there can be no alternate interpretation. What is in the book is the last piece humans will get from god ever and anyone claiming that it is wrong is an enemy, anyone claiming your wrong is an enemy, and anyone who thinks we should look at it again to see if we got things right is an enemy. Its all you have, its all there will ever be.

That is like asking how to create a new organism that naturally does not age, without genetic modification.
Human are naturaly flawed and so by extension so are our societies. To create a unflawed and never ending civilization would only be possible through the changing of the human creature. Humans will always chase hedonistic pleasure, it's just in our nature. Any changes made to a civilisation to combat this nature will slowly deteriorate over time, and so to will that society. All we can hope for is that a better society will emerge from the ashes of the old. This has happened hundreds of times over history and it would be ignorant to say it will not happen to ours. I think it's a true testament to our society that it has lasted this long with such individual degeneracy on a large scale, but I don't think it can continue, Nor do I think it can be reversed. Without something fundamental changing within ourselves it never will change.

Example, I just read an article about companies paying for fake reviews. Imagine how much better life would be if those people were put in prison instead of ignored or fined.
