As i look t the world I feel I've seen this before. I am becoming more and more certain that the civilization we live in meaning the western European/american empires are dying and are beyond saving. IT makes me think about concepts like the kaalchakra the wheel of time. You would only need a take a passing glance at history to see this pattern repeating itself over and over. It happened to Rome, and they were more powerful than we ever were.

So i would ask everyone here forget the LARPers and Trolls the small handful of people here whom are taking anything seriously:

If the destruction of our current society is inevitable, does it make more sense to try and save it or should the smart people instead prepare, preserve what knowledge and culture they can and build something new from the ashes?
