Why are white supremacists so afraid of being "exposed"

I think it's just that all throughout it's history white nationalism has been portrayed as inherently evil, and any supporters have been quickly suppressed.
And if no one stands with you, you're still going to need a job, right?

Just like Mike Enoch of TRS - he had a good, well-paying job in tech, got doxed, and because he's known as a "white supremacist" (yes, nuisance term but that's what he'd be known as), his presence in the workplace would make people of color uncomfortable and they could sue their mutual employer for having a /hostile work environment/. Employers don't like being sued, so, no Mike Enoch. And of course, anticipating this, no prospective employer (with an HR department) will hire a white nationalist. Bye bye nice career.

If you managed to get into a union or some other place of employment that doesn't give a shit (picking vegetables, construction) you're fine, but not, a nice, cushy, high-paying office job.
