The Queer Insurrection and Liberation Army.
Have any of you guys read about this?

Here are two places talking about it. Granted, old news sources so they pretty much same the same damn thing. Still, how aren't these fags getting killed in Syria?
I know ISIS hates them, but doesn't the average Muslim? Leads me to think this article is a lie, but I can't find any more info about it. I feel that the odds of soldiers flying flags like that in that place in the world is pretty low.

Checked. Let's archive it:

I need to learn how to archive sooner or later. Still, looking more into them they are part of the IFB which is a collection of fighters from around the world that have gone to fight in the civil war in Syria.
This is just a collection of them inside the IFB that are proud to be gay it seems.

They're attached to Syrian Kurdish YPG which is an armed wing Democratic Union Party and they're really progressive:
>Pluralism
>Libertarian socialism,
>Democratic socialism,
>Feminism,
>Eco-socialism,
>Social ecology,
>Democratic Confederalism,
>Communalism
>“We in the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), while emphasizing our deep respect for human rights, including the rights of homosexuals, we deny the formation of such a battalion within the framework of our forces and we consider this news to be untrue"
Tiny unit (of probably at most a dozen people) doing its PR far from the frontlines, typical from western volunteers participating in the Syrian civil war who are there only for attention.

SDF is a broader coalition that includes Arab rebel groups and YPG.
>>135041777
And?
They're not attached to any unit inside SDF.
Only thing they're gonna get is droned by the government and AIDs.
>>135041870
IFB was created specifically for foreign volunteers that wanted to fight for Rojava.
It's natural that Arab Sunni groups would be more conservative.

The LGBT unit is not in any way official inside the IRPGF, even if the latter are part of the IFB. If they want to establish a meme unit in their social media pictures to pretend that there's an official all-gay "army" fighting IS, that's fine and all, but it's only propaganda.
I never mentioned anything about arab sunni groups.

So how does we use this against them? They are a bunch of foreign ass holes fucking up another country?
Yes. I'm aware of my flag.

SDF is already damage controlling since this is bad for their image. All sides involved in the civil war think this is a bad idea. However, self-declared anarchists and marx-leninists have been shitting it up in Rojava for a long time. There's a lot of scandals in some units where drug usage was widespread.
Worst thing is that these faggots don't realise that most kurds don't care as much about democratic confederalism and all that shit than they do about ethnic kurdish nationalism and the creation of their Kurdistani "homeland" (ecompassing half Syria, Iraq, Turkey, and Iran).

Interesting. How many of these self declared groups kick around in Rojava? What about other parts of Syria?

They mainly participate in the international freedom batallion... you can look at how many units there are on wikipedia.

>What about other parts of Syria?
I don't think there are any units like that when it comes to the rebels.
There are plenty of pro-government militias, though, but they mostly recruit from Iraq/Iran/Palestine. I think it wouldn't be difficult to enroll in one as a western foreigner, but I don't know if those are present in any significant size in those units. (especially since they could relatively easily get flagged as terrorists in their home countries when they come back)
One's best bet, outside of Rojava, would be to enroll in Hezbollah in Lebanon in some christian or neutral unit and then ask to get transferred to Syria.
