I think DBZ has to be about my favorite child's cartoon of all time. It's like wall to wall positive and moral messaging without being all faggoty and Jewish. I dropped it some time after GT, but it was great getting stoned and pretending to be a kid again when still young enough to not really be in the adult world yet.

A little more sophisticated than DBZ and it still makes for some good occasional escapism. I stumbled across Gintama a few years back and in terms of comedy it's pretty well on par or better than a lot of the crap I see a lot of other adults watching on talmudvision for light evening entertainment.
