Build a forge from a cast iron pot bolted to a table top that has a t-shape black iron pipe poking through, facing up through the table into the pot, down to drop the ash and one pipe 90 degrees to the side.
Add a leafblower to the side pipe, sink strainer over the top pipe inside the pot, cover the tabe in fire paint just in case, and put some oven cement inside the pot on the top of the table for insulation. Add coal and you're good to go.
Made right, it can be a nice little first forge.
