capitalism is the best general sort of econoomic system we have now, but only when properly regulated, manged, and controlled. when you let it run free you get shit like child labor sweatshops, factories locked from the outside so workers can't leave, and deadly conditions because it's cheaper to find and train a new employee than it is to put up proper safety mechanisms
