Pick any other church founded by the apostles. There are Eastern Orthodox ones, Oriental Catholics, Oriental Orthodox, etc. Pick whichever one you find theologically correct. If I recall correctly, the Armenians are theologically the closest to Catholics and made steps towards communion with Rome back when John Paul II was traveling the world. I know there are Greek Catholics who have their own communities, but it sounds like you don't want to be a Catholic at all. I'd recommend steering clear of Protestants, especially the American ones. They are fucking nuts. You probably know enough about Eastern Orthodox, so I'll leave it at that.
