Some say that if you legalize marijuana drug use rates will go down
How does this make any logical sense?

it's like having unlimited pumpkin pie or midget wrestling, you get tired of it

Fpbp
>>134696679
Nobody, I repeat, NOBODY gets "tired of" midget wrestling.

I just want edibles so I can quit smoking and be a little more healthy about my weed addiction.
Drug use would not go down. It would solve other problems
>>134696991
the midgets sure get tired
>>134697253
Just get more midgets. You don't need to make them fight till the death. Maybe in the final rounds, but not in the beginning.
>>134696462
I suppose people wouldn't be as afraid of it.
>>134696462
It doesn't, but take Holland and compare drug use to most Euro countries. You will find that Holland is lower in the statistic.

Education of it's effects, rather than fear propaganda.
Not pushed by shady people, but sold officially by the regulated.
It's no longer cool, people aren't rebelling by using it.
>>134696462
Drug use will not go down, but ILLEGAL drug use would go down.
Which is a good thing, because the strain of drug arrests, convictions, imprisonment, and so on, are a big waste of money.

I have no problem with people smoking weed. I just fucking hate Dude, Weed Culture. Since it's been legalized here in commiefornia people just openly smoke wherever which is annoying as fuck. I've already reported two people for DUI who were driving while ripping the pipe.
i think you mixed up drug use with drug crime

>You don't need to make them fight till the death
If I have to watch some tame-ass PC midget wrestling where they don't even fight to the death I'm going to get tired of it real quick.

others say that a crime without a victim isn't really a crime

Drug arrests are largely used to imprison criminal blacks before they commit a more serious offense. Legal weed will eliminate that checkpoint, and we'll be one step closer to Brazil.

It's quite well know now through studies of a number of places including Portugal and Colorado that usage rates tend to drop after legalisation. After legalisation in Portugal of the possession of all drugs, addiction is down half, usage rates are way down, especially among teenagers, drugs related deaths are way down, continued drug use is down. It's almost as if we libertarians knew what we were talking about
If you've ever been a teen, you know you like doing shit that's the opposite of what your parents and other adults do.
If know for a fact that the most anti-weed students I knew were those who had stoner parents.
