The reason that your foreign employees can afford to live on the wage that your countrymen cannot, is because they can send the money they earn back home where it is worth more and is enough to make their families comfortable. It is not enough to keep locals happy, obviously.
But the point is if you were offering a good product at a reasonable price then people would buy your product at a fair price (whatever it costs to cover your costs plus a bit extra for yourself), becuase they would want the product and therefore have to pay it's value. The problem is because your competitors ALSO employ foreign workers, they too have driven their costs down and can afford to outcompete others who are paying a fair wage.
If noone was employing foreign workers, the competitive price would be set as whatever it costs to properly produce the product plus a sustainable profit.
The reality is of course that this is done by the major players who can afford to employ vast numbers of cheap employees and also take vast profits.
The argument remains the same however. If you didn't have foreign workers undermining fair wages for locals then there would be enough room in the market for your business, and other businesses to survive without having to desperately drive your costs down, resulting in an inferior product for your customers at an inflated cost, as you would be happy to just be making money and feeding your children and not desperately dreaming (like we all are) of being able to lounge around like a king and live in absolute luxury like the heads of the major corporations and the elites have convinced us is an admirable trait.
