Nope. I was raised un-religiously. I wasn't baptized, I adhered to the weirdest bullshit throughout my life (28 now). When I was introduced to Christianity, I learned the thing. I mean I'm theoretical physicist and I literally experienced the "bottom of the cup" meme. And since Christianity is actually the most coherent and reasonable faith, if you look at it beyond the surface, I've gone with it - which isn't for a long time. About 2 months now. But know what ? It made my life better. I'm happier, more humble and I met good people. And with regards to you general answer: That's great if you're happy in your life !! My answer was less aimed at "you're living a shitty live, because you don't have Christ in your heart". It was more reaction to "you prolly have to be raise in it". Though I see now that it became a bit of a rant.
Well, the point is - for me - that being Christian is generally beneficial - if you do it right and honestly. And once you'll search for God - provided you will at some point - I'm sure he will guide you just right.

But I'll conclude with this: In my opinion humans need God, because as can be seen, they substituted him through secularization with things like money, power, generally instant gratification, science and the like. But contrary to God, those things - usually (of course there are rare exceptions as exceptions confirm the rule) - don't provide happiness, as they all stem from utterly intrinsic needs. There needs to be something higher - and as I said, for me, Christianity provides the most coherent faith.

I'd rather put my faith and trust in the strength of humanity. I believe that there is a lot of promise in the enterprise of being human. We may fight and disagree, and there will be dark days, but that's part of the business of being human, and even that, in of itself, is a pleasure.
