They vary immensely in design. The only similarities is that both the V2 and Saturns were aerodynamic tubes propelled by igniting liquid fuel, which describes pretty much all rockets. The V2 didn't even have more than one stage.

A couple things to note about that prototype, is that it used a jet engine for primary thrust, and hydrogen peroxide thrusters for attitude control. Jet engines don't react as quickly to changes in throttle, which makes them not so great for such an application.

By comparison actual lunar lander used aerozine 50 + dinitrogen tetroxide bipropellant, which is super toxic and corrosive. So corrosive that the engines couldn't be tested before flight. The first time they fired was during the actual mission.

In 1969, my older (step)brother had a very early desktop personal computer he had to build from parts ordered directly from Intel and IBM, etc. It did next to nothing compared to the thing I'm typing this on. He built it to help my father and his first wife keep inventory in their boat/marine products dealership. It cost something like $4000 to build.
