But they also were given hundreds of millions of weapons, billions of rounds, hundreds of thousands of artilley pieces and millions of mortars, along with russian operatives and commanders and they had home field advantage, and with all that considered americans won nearly every battle they fought while only losing maybe 1/4 the men the vietcong lost
