Honestly, that advice is kinda shitty. It's heavily focused on superficial trivialities, and the repetitive calls to censor any dissatisfaction you have are toxic to a relationship.

So it's a time where magazines weren't sex rags and you were expected to stay with a person even if you lost romantic feelings 5 years after marriage. If people never divorce than the top priority is about how to coexist well. And probably it's mostly due to this magazine being modest.

They asked for rights but refused the responsibility.. and then when men punished them for this by ignoring their shit they started ranting that men are destroying society by not being perfect and not being into fatties.

horribly oversimplified but some women I know would have loved to make babies and make husband happy but 'the men want it all, women want it all' syndrome fucked the simple but good life up.
