Republicans literally have a majority in the Senate and House

Trump and Republicans should be enable to enforce their will
Why are they such cucks?
>>
>>134116724
because lots of republicans are actually democrats using the republican name, and lots of republicans are insider swamp denizens who hate Trump and his attempts at getting rid of corruption
>>
Big pharma has corrupted and paid off most politicians.
>>
>>134116724
repubs and dems are two sides of the same coin.
>>
R's cant stop a filibuster. Did you not take highschool gov?
>>
>>134116724
Demand a vote
Make them self isolate themselves and make them vote no with the entire country watching

They will back down and vote the way they are supposed to
>>
Really pisses me off they can't get anything done. I'm not even going to bother voting anymore if they can't get shit done holding a majority in the house and senate
>>
>>134116724
Because:
1. Majority of republicans are traitors
2. Majority of republicans hate Trump (see point 1.)
3. They never wanted obongocare repealed, which is why they didn't even have a proposal ready to go despite blowing hot air for years about replacing it
>>
Because they all have different opinions on what should be done.

Democrats don't have different opinions. As a democrat congressman, you vote how your party tells you to vote.
>>
>>134117575
4. Republicans are actually trying to lose in midterm elections so that Trump will be hamstrung.
>>
because muh democracy
>>
>>134116724
they had eight years to come up with something better than the awful Obamacare. Now they are up shit creek.

Trump promised affordable health care for all AND a tax decrease.

And people believe him!
>>
>>134116853
This. This meme about how "Republicans control yada yada yada" needs to die. The majority Republicans in congress right now are NOT Republicans they are democrat/globalist/crony infiltrators paying lip service. Nothing will get done until they are forced out and replaced with real American reps.
>>
>>134116853
>he thinks there are more moderate/liberal democrats then there are conservative/moderate Republicans

There are a handful of actual liberal Democrats in America. Our country is majority center/center-right.
>>
>>134116853
This
>>134117013
And this
>>134117149
And this
>>
Trump's will isn't the will of the GOP. The congressmen in there now for the most part will fight tooth and nail against the only hope their party and white Americans have in not being drowned by mass third world immigration. Trump if he accomplishes the wall and mass deportations of illegal aliens will not have solved the demographic problem. He stands for a positive shift but that shift must continue with new faces in congress that at least tow the line in advancing policies in the best interests of white people. Every Hart-Celler immigrant needs to go back, birthright citizenship needs to be repealed and those who have been naturalized as such need to go back.
>>
I didnt read all comments but this is the truth of why they wont do this. The money doesn't want them to. The donors and lobbyists dont want them to. These "leaders" are more scared of not getting cash then they are of us. They are secure either way. They can leave and do speeches, write books, get jobs at big law firms, become lobbyists themselves, create foundations, BUT if they vote against what the money wants, they are screwed. What this mostly tells you is they have been lying for all these years. So what do we do? Kid Rock and every other troll we can put into office. Dont misunderstand, to be honest he would be better than any of these morons because he hasn't been corrupted. Guy is already rich like Trump is. Motivator isn't cash, fixing the country is. These idiots in now obviously are looking out for them, not the people that elected them. We need to TROLL the SHIT out of THEM!!!!
>>
>>134118030
This is True and this is also key and the part I left out.
>>
>>134117207
>with the entire country watching
the entire country that hates Trump and still loves Obamacare? Because they'll totally be afraid of voting against Trump
>>
>>134116724
So Trump wants 2 Republicans not 8 Democrats to control the Senate.
>>
>>134118443
>Trump's will.

you mean "affordable health care for everyone and lower taxes", which he promised repeatedly on the campaign trail? Trump even went so far as to agree with Bernie on the issue
>>
>>134119145
>hates Trump
Hillary did not get the majority of the vote. Most Republicans in the Senate come from red states.
>>
>>134117804
>Republicans trying to lose midterms
Top meme, the House Republicans would literally kill the Senate Republicans if there was a chance of this happening.
>>
even the most ardent Trump supporters must admit that he lied over half the time on the campaign trail. Either that, or logic and reason mean absolutely nothing to them.
>>
>>134116724
Because their shitty healthcare plan had less than 15 percent support. The ACA itself is a conservative solution to healthcare anyway. They just fucked themselves over by yelling at a bill they should like for the past 7 years.
>>
>>134118055
Nancy Peloci and her silicon valley big tech doners run the party though. San Francisco is such a degenerate city and they now have a huge influence on American politics. That's why our country is going to shit.
>>
>all these excuses

Man, you guys really don't want to admit that your agenda is incredibly unpopular.

>we'll just shove our shit down Americas throat! no one will mind!

Nah.
>>
>>134116724
>Trump and Republicans should be enable to enforce their will
And they get bipartisan support when enforcing (((their))) will
>>
>>134119145
>majority want obamacare repealed
>vote in red wave to control all branches of government to repeal obamacare
>this is "love"
>>
>>134119182
Mass deporting the nonwhite rent seekers from this country accomplishes both of those things.
>>
The most ironic part of all of this is the republicans aren't moving on anything because they take DEMOCRAT money. Its not even funny. Most all of the billionaires are dems. Soros, Bezos, Gates, Bloomberg, you name it. This is where they get most of their cash.
>>
>>134119943
>>majority want obamacare repealed

Wrongo! Most want it fixed and for any unpopularity with Obamacare the Republican plans are all much more unpopular.

You poor, dumb goy
>>
>>134119430
They are. The republican strategy right now is to pose midterms so then Trump will not be able to do anything and he will then lose in 2020. The entire republican strategy right now is centered around making sure Trump loses 2020. It's the only hypothesis that explains the actions of the party.
>>
It's simply because repealing Obamacare is increasingly more unpopular.

In short, Americans are retarded and changed their mind about repealing Obamacare. Once you give "freebies" to someone, it's very hard to take it away. It doesn't matter if you're from the "right" or "left".
>>
>>134116724
If it isnt obvious by mccain and this shit most of the republicans are deep state like dems. Its all a shit show.
It literally proves to all clueless mouth breathers that the "president" doesnt have as much power as you may think.
Basic gov class will show you that.
Too many chiefs not enough indians.
>>
>>134116724
The "THEY COBTROL THE HOWSE" meme needs to die. Some of these guys barely pass as republicans and it's a bunch of infighting among those
>>
>>134116724
Obamacare is shit, the previous system was shit, but the Republicans never bothered to build a consensus alternative over the past eight years. Just grandstanding and empty rhetoric.
>>
>>134117575
Well yeah, run a campaign saying they'll repeal it so they can continue to get re-elected into their Obamacare exempt position
>>
>>134120368

>freebies

You arent, nor will you ever be, in the club so you dont threaten their membership. You may vote them out but theyre still in the club. The people have forgotten their role. The powerful are glad of that.
>>
I don't understand why the filibuster works. Can't they just wait it out?

The fact that republicans can't get shit done while controlling literally everything and cry like fucking babies evrytim is just embarrassing

>>

Coincidentally, of course.

Totally possible, and easy to achieve. Make it cheaper by regulating how many profits can be made, allowing cheaper medicine from other countries to be imported, allow insurance companies to sell across state lines and let them negotiate prices. All this requires no extra tax money. And we can lower taxes by simply defunding all the useless stuff. We spend hundreds of billions of dollars a year on stupid shit like studying what makes the perfect date.

It's not even the top 10% either, it'll be the lower-middle-class 45-55% that are too rich to qualify for free care but too poor to actually afford the mandated levels of care.

Basically, it's the final death knell for the American middle class, before society is fully divided into the ultra poor and the ultra rich, with no middle ground.

Welcome to the One Progressive Party. In this case it is three Republican women holding this up, and even if they weren't it still would not happen, because the party does not want to piss off their real constituents, and that is their corporate donors.
This is why people need to vote out the two parties in the congress, like they did to the candidates running to become president. Until this is done this nation will go the way of Rome.

2 supreme court: trump is better than we could hope for on this front
3 foreign policy: trump is letting a democractically elected leader run syria instead of starting world war 3. again, better than we could have hoped for on this point.

the little every day petty fights dont matter
god bless you donald
god bless america

Because it was enacted without those majorities. Basically it's harder to repeal than it was to pass, which makes no sense.

I just read that the senate actually voted to repeal Obamacare in 2014, but it was of course vetoed by Obama. How the hell did they get the votes then but not now when they control the presidency?
>>
>>134138213
They voted for it knowing it was going to get vetoed.
>>
>>134138213
because they were disingenuously playing politics while knowing they wouldnt have to face the repercussions

Because republican voters actually like Obamacare now that they know its actually the same thing as the 'Affordable care act'.

They now know they are on Obamacare and they don't want it gone.
>>
>>134116724
When elections come around, do you want to be the person that voted to demolish American healthcare with no replacement? The Senate has more to think about than some angry Trumpfags.

>obamacare is a fucking travesty

If so, then its a popular travesty among republican voters. They have never been consistent with what they want, it was neo-liberalism with the Tea party, and now its protectionism with Trump, and who knows what they will stand for in a few years from now.

The popular thing with republican voters now is 'reforming Obamacare', rather than replacing it. Which is the same thing the democrats want. Obama won.
>>
>>134138636
This implies that Obamacare is better than what came before it, which is the opposite of what they've been saying for years.
>>
>>134139351

Yeah, it is the opposite of what they have been saying for years. They changed their minds.

It's better than nothing. Dismantling it now will bring down the entire system. That's how it was designed. If they really cared about healthcare, they would fix the problems with the current bill, instead of this partisan bullshit.
>>
>>134116724
>enforce their will
>Why are they such cucks?

There is always the possibility they'd actually prefer to do nothing. You can't imagine that, because you believe they are your bitches. They are not. They are in fact better than you. Enjoy more power than you. And can fuck you over with a single vote.

The hard line no-compromise "get government out of health care and let the free market decide" people seem to disagree.

Yes, in fact, they're the ones who keep scuttling every repeal-and-replace effort the Republicans have tried to make this year.
>>
>>134120151
That's not even true, poorfag. The majority of Americans still have employer-sponsored private healthcare coverage. And they could give a fuck what works for you unemployed, degenerate poorfags.

This is the great tragedy or your victories. You actually imagined anyone who ever made money in America could ever give a fuck about you. Protip: they are lying.

Absolutely nobody at all respects the poor in this country and that's exactly why we look the other way when cops gun them down in the street.

They are nothing but future commies to us.

Well the politicians are doing what their constituents want. If I'm wrong, they'll get removed in 2018, but I doubt it.
>>
>>134120628
Republicans are doing this all exactly right. Let it collapse without a single Republican vote intervening.

Who can you blame for the mess then? Dems have to know this is coming. Expect them to panic soon.

But this is super short sighted.
It means the second Republicans lose their majority (which will happen at some point), the Democrats will just nix the law

This is why you have things such as 60 vote thresholds, it's to prevent this kind of autistic government switching rapidly back and forth between extremes

Different republican voting blocks have differing preferences towards the affordable healthcare act. The poorer republicans who can't afford to lose it, want it reformed. While the wealthier republicans who can manage without want to get rid of it. So the republicans are divided against themselves.

The Trump supporters are generally the same ones who want the ACA reformed rather than replaced, including the swing state voters who gave Trump the victory. So now we have this weird situation where the Trump supporters are basically the democrats now, and Trump a weird bizzarro Democrat. But republicans can't get rid of this democrat because that would cause the real democrats to win next elections.
