Zizek is an interesting case. While I find his political views pathetic and misguided, he has a sharp mind for philosophy and wrote at least one extremely good book (Tarrying with the Negative). It's been sad to see his slow decline over the past 15 years or so, with books increasingly just re-hashing old concepts and silly public appearances like this one becoming prioritized as his "stardom" got to his head.
