Because universities are Marxist in their very nature. Let's be realistic here: you live in an era where information is everywhere and can be accessed at the tip of your fingers. Between the internet, books, and massive amounts of archives now easily made available universities are relatively obsolete in terms of what they are suppose to function as.

The only real things that the university still provides in terms of actual worth is the study of law, the hard sciences, and medicine.
