History is the constant struggle between the different races for supremacy, and we decided to not only give up our supremacy that we had temporarily secured after more than a thousand year of struggle, but we also started helping the other races to beat us, and we bound ourselves to prevent any kind of fighting back. Most people realized this.

Our armed forces are often quite frank about how useless it is to have people building infrastructure and yet not fighting. But the reason for that is soldiers weren't allowed to engage enemies, they kept having to get permission to do so from someone in Washington.

This is part of why the US wouldn't devote that much to building infrastructure there. It was often other countries like Japan and Italy that didn't want to risk soldiers dying that would decide to devote most of their resources to defending little groups that would build up a school here or a hospital there (that really are just empty buildings), then proceed to leave feeling it was a job well done. Then whatever Muslims would come in and blow everything up that had been built.

The major problem the US has dealt with over the years is that we'd have people in Washington listening to institutes like the Center on Foreign Policy, where no one seems to have had any experience fighting. As well they're all armchair generals who are obviously globalists, thinking the natural state for everyone in the world has the same basic values.
