The old doctor who from the 60s and 70s was good up until Tom Baker or Peter Davidson left (depending on who you ask) and the 6th and 7th doctors were utter trash until the show got cancalled. Now the new stuff was good until David Tennant left then Matt Smith came along and it turned to trash. Capaldi was better and I watched it a little, but it was still pretty bad.

What has changed is attempts to appeal to a different audience. Doctor who was traditionally sci-fi and that was it. It was good. So it stopped appealing to prople who watched it for the sci-fi and instead appealed to people that wanted to ride Matt Smith's cock. I loved Doctor Who, especially the lore. I still do, in a way, as I am still reading the hundreds of novels written throughout the years. It was always great to see sci-fi writers given the chance to add to the universe of such a long-running show, and a lot of the ideas and races and characters have been amazing.

I stopped watching the show a short while after nu-who started, despite the fact that my friends continued to eat it up. I was just disgusted that Russell T Davies, the writer at the time and a prominent gay activist, would put so much gay stuff (one mention per episode actually) in the episodes of a kid's show. None of the writers were sci-fi writers anymore. Just people he was fucking. Same goes for Christopher Eccleston.

Then, apparently the other faggot took over and it became nothing but SJW propaganda. I guess they're just trading off the 40 years of credit that the show has, now. I pity the grandparents who will let their grandkids watch this deviant shitshow because they recognise the brand.

For the last like year I was waiting around for a new episode of who, and then I found out it's one in old time Brittan where they punch a racist and tell you that Brittan had always been multicultural. I should have stopped when they had the paki sidekick, or when the show got more into muh quirky doctor lol, instead of the interesting storyline. I don't mind a female Doctor who so much though. Same... my dad and I always watched Star Trek and Star Trek TNG together... then when in college I got really sick and the lesbian across the hall had the complete series of Voyager and let me borrow it. It took me almost two weeks of watching it nonstop to complete it, but I'm glad I did. Wasn't that bad.
