But that's not why liberals or minority groups want affirmative action. They believe that racism is so deeply entrenched in society that the only way to effect meaningful and lasting change is to force it. Otherwise many companies hiring, schools accepting students, or landlords renting apartments would never consider them.

I just don't know how you're ever going to convince black people that's not the case, and that affirmative action isn't beneficial to them.
