Oddly enough the Canadian banking system is much more secure due to some government backing it has on accounts so I still manage to maintain some of my saved income there. I also refuse to go into debt at all, including a mortgage.

I'm currently at a plant in Cork and it was easy enough to get on. Be wise about it and look into whether you can save money or not.
