A progressive to me is a person on the left of nuance. Unadulterated capitalism is a terrible idea. Unadulterated socialism is a terrible idea. There are great ideas from both that we can use.

We can give incentives to business for keeping their production here while at the same time allowing for common-sense regulations that doesn't let them poison our products or our environment that they pull from.

We can give everyone a standard of health care without pushing Government in between every transaction.

Wealth has grown so much for the upper class that we're still capping out tax brackets in the low 100k's. That's outrageous. A few % increases in taxes as you increase into the double digit millions and again, we can pay for everything everyone's ever wanted.
