Sol- the personification of the sun

Lockwood- a town in Yorkshire England that takes its name from the Old English "loc wudu". Loc wudu literally translate to "residence of the wood enclosed by fencing".

So taken as a whole, the name Ingersol Lockwood could be interpreted as "one who takes up residence in the home/land behind the fence/wall, which knows god controls the climate and seeks masculinity and prosperity for common men. This leader is ordained by the god of light/ the sun.

good luck reading the blurry ones, though. and #12, the one I compared to an Ace, still doesn't look like it contains any letters, just two vague line shapes, one arcing to the right and the other sharply angling to the left, and the big blocky dot in the middle. #13 looks like it's got a cross in the middle. and the top symbol in #14 looks familiar, if the curved line on top is part of the symbol and not a side effect of the top-level shading.

it's not just you, bro. I think quite a few people see some very otherworldly shit in their dreams. I had a dream a few years ago in which I saw some absurd things that were supposed to happen in the near future: stuff about cosmic catastrophes, aliens, Dyson spheres. Whether or not the dream was 1:1 accurate to what is going to happen, or whether it was more symbolic, I don't know. I do know I wrote all that stuff down somewhere, and I've only written down two dreams in my life because they were so unnerving. the rest I've turned into fictional worlds and stories to use for my writing. so yeah, you're not wrong to do that. deep dreaming can make for some great absurdist imagery to use.

I can actually agree with that, mostly. we should be able to make our reality, but we can't for self-imposed reasons. belief, cultural influences, indoctrination throughout existence, all sorts of stuff. of course, that brings up the argument for "well, if a person really believes he can fly and jumps off a roof, why doesn't he?" to that, I don't know, but judging from how things actually DO happen, I take it that mere belief is not enough to make things happen. you either need symbols, rituals or sheer numbers.
