"evangelicals" and pentecostals are competing for the same few converts in many cases. pentecostals are all about "feeling" and charismatic worship especially when it comes to "gifts of the spirit" such as speaking in tongues. doctrine and theology doesn't have much of a place. it isn't going to fucking save anything, only destroy what little there was.

Plus the lack of doctrine and theology is false, they heavily refer to the "founding fathers" of their movements in the 19 th century who were theologians and some of them even go as far as reading the father of the church (wich is a huge improvement on other protestantism)
