Being a taxpayer should entitle you to a vote, nothing else. If you don't pay taxes you don't pay for what you're voting for, we shouldn't have to not only oppose but pay out of our own pocket for something we do not want in order for someone who doesn't pay to have it.
You should also have to show voter identification which will be provided free on request to taxpayers.
