I notice that a lot of people on /pol/ don't like the Iraq war. But how do you respond to THIS argument in favor of the war?

I think that's a cringey song/album or whatever it is. I will tell you that I was 100% in favor of the Iraq war at the time. I listened to dipshits like Max Boot and Bill Kristol and it all made sense based on what we were spoon fed. I won't make that mistake again.

I don't know if I'd go that far, they were living in a different paradigm than existed at the time. I'll tell you right now that W is a good person, I just think that they were operating under a neo-con cold war footing at the time and it didn't apply to the situation they were dealing with. Think all of the never-Trump holdouts that refuse to acknowledge that the world isn't the one they grew up in. Shit, when I was in elementary school we still had nuclear bomb drills, and I'm a Gen X.
