>The Greensboro massacre is the term for an event which took place on November 3, 1979, when members of the Communist Workers' Party and others demonstrated in a "Death to the Klan" march in Greensboro, North Carolina, United States
>The CWP, which had advocated that Klan members should be "physically beaten and chased out of town", engaged in a shootout with members of the Ku Klux Klan and the American Nazi Party.

North Carolina is a based state
Why are commies so fucking cringe?
>The four white men were buried in the traditionally all-black cemetery near Morningside. The inscription intended for their memorial was initially opposed by the city council, citing new ordinances banning political speech in that context. With support from the North Carolina ACLU they were able to move forward one year later, commemorating the fallen with the following message:
>"On November 3, 1979 the criminal monopoly capitalist class murdered Jim Waller, César Cauce, Mike Nathan, Bill Sampson, and Sandi Smith with government agents, Klan, and Nazis. Heroically defending the people, the 5 charged gunfire with bare fists and sticks. We vow this assassination will be the costliest mistake the capitalists have ever made, and the turning point of class struggle in the U.S.
>The CWP 5 were among the strongest leaders of their times. Their death marked an end to capitalist stabilization (1950s-1970s) when American workers suffered untold misery, yet as a whole remained dormant for lack of its own leaders. In 1980 the deepest capitalist crisis began. The working class was awakening. The CWP 5 lived and died for all workers, minorities, and poor; for a world where exploitation and oppression will be eliminated, and all mankind freed; for the noble goal of communism. Their deaths, a tremendous loss to the CWP and to their families, are a clarion call to the U.S. people to fight for the workers' rule. In their footsteps waves of revolutionaries will rise and join our ranks.
>We will overthrow the rule of the monopoly capitalist class! Victory will be ours! November 3, 1980 Central Committee, CWP, USA FIGHT FOR REVOLUTIONARY SOCIALISM AND WORKERS RULE."[17]

Based Chile.
How do you guys talk about Pinochet in your (((media)))
>>133490791
I live in Greensboro what's up
>>133492574
They mostly attack him, however there's a lot that still support him (mostly old people) and they occasionally cover him in a positive or neutral light. But media is mostly anti-Pinochet.
We have a Pinochetist, who's literally the son of a Waffen SS general, running for president now lol, he's called Jose Antonio Kast and he's redpilled af.
I would say Pinochet's approval among Chileans has improved though, when he left office he had 44%, when he died it was around 9%, now it's around 20%.
Also, media is getting the Trump treatment by some now. Watch this video lol.

Does your local media try to make it look like the commies were heroes?

Interesting read, I saw that in 2013 with both candidates in Chile using translated obama slogans like 'yes we can'
>>133493250
No. But locally our role in the civil rights era is celebrated. Greensboro has been a hot spot for this sort of thing since the sit-in down at woolworth's. If you look at the race map of greensboro, you can visually see where the railroad tracks running west-east are based on the extreme segregation of whites (north) and blacks (south of the tracks) on the map. Downtown has changed from a scary ghost town where you will get robbed into a hip, gentrified, active area. Definitely changing for the better.

2013 was completely rigged, basically the right-wing candidate said he had depression almost a week before the election and dropped out, giving Bachelet an easy victory.
I don't remember the slogans exactly, but what you say is probably true. Matthei (right wing) was "A 7 for Chile" (7 is the best grade you can get in school), Bachelet I don't remember.
If Kast becomes president (highly unlikely but a man can dream), Chile could be great again and get an economic growth of 130% like with Pinochet.
