I was raised Protestant (Baptist) but converted to Eastern Orthodoxy in early 20's.

Crime and Punishment (Fyodor Dostoevsky)

The last one is an example of the best literature from an Orthodox society; compare it to the best English literature from the 1800s and notice the difference. Reading C&P was what spurred me to look into becoming Orthodox.

Catholics and Orthodox are teaching false doctrine that blatantly goes against the bible. The pope is a homo-supporting Anti-Christ Communist. Most Baptists despise this label, because what most people know as Protestantism is liberal infiltrated Universalism trying to destroy Christianity.
Baptists are in fact more conservative and strict than Catholics. Bonus points for Southern Baptist Convention.

Why does every Christian do this? Why not read the Bible? This is the Word of God, and He speaks to us primarily through His Word. Do not neglect reading the Bible people...
