Allowing the masses the right to self governance was a mistake

Allowing the masses the right to propagate inherently destructive ideologies was an even greater mistake

Yes, but unlike communism, capitalism gives you the option to share or not. I personally don't like Uber so I don't use them and I have never had to use airbnb yet.

Well, good thing that never happened then.

These are just companies capitalizing on Communist ideals. Anyway, modern society is fucking absurd.
>>
>>133176478

Monetization of your assets is the most primal form of democracy and capitalism. OP is retarded and this is a dumb thread. Uber and the "sharing economy" is a different beast in that it conducts predatory pricing and leverages poor lending standards to build a bad ecosystem who preys on weak legislation and consumer rights. it's no different then Amazon or Walmart, which is great for capital but poor for sustainable wage growth
>>
>>133177350
Also this. Democracy (especially at scale) doesn't work.
>>
>>133177287
Well, you pretty much HAVE to, since half the wage earners in US earn less than 30k

>>
>>133176478
That's funny, I live in a capitalist country and I've never used those companies once. It's almost like capitalism is based on VOLUNTARY exchange.
>>
>>133177209
You understand we have more regulations now than ever in history right? Corporations love regulations because they put smaller competitors out of business, giving them a defacto monopoly. Pharmaceutical companies, tobacco companies, the medical industry, and banks are prime examples of this. They spend millions in lobbying for a reason. Regulation is good for them.
>>
>>133176478
Now THAT'S a false equivalency

Philosophers have been saying this for thousands of years.
Why is everyone starting to realize that democracies are a mistake?
>>

Yes. They have duped Communists into voluntarily giving them their money because "sharing".

maybe socialists should stop being kike controlled anti white useful idiots who want to flood us with every coon sand nigger and spic while forcing to apologize for being white then

Can you and a family of 4 live in a one room apartment? This was life in stalinist era ussr. The situation improved but most SJWs and current western liberals would be in hate living in USSR. Current day republican would make it farther.

Standard Oil Corporation. An incorporated business is legally protected by governments by allowing them to be treated as an individual which prevents individuals from being held liable for their actions other than typically one or two fall guys. You incorporate to protect yourself because the government will protect you for doing so. Next try
>>
>>133178608
You know the dissolution of Standard made Kohn D. Rockefeller the richest man in the world. Not the actual monopoly. You are just like all the suckers who were duped into thinking they won some victory over the rich while make them more wealthy.

kikes are selling you a shit sandwich with some honey mustard glaze over it, "tiny houses" for a low low price of $100k, nobody buys a car you have to Uber everywhere, if you have a nicer place by some miracle you rent it out to strangers for extra shekels via air bnb, "hipster minimalism" of just living on baked beans and rice in a shitty $3000 a month apartment in Brooklyn, white people can't even have kids so schlomo is advertising the child free lifestyle on mtv to normalize it, it's literally all a Jewish trick that the good goyim are embracing with a smile on their face, communists are anti white kikes but at least they see through schlomo's tricks instead of worshipping the Jewish casino of wall street and the free market
>>

>>
>>133179297
>saved your faggy larpy ass in burgerstan from facism
Oh look, it's this meme. Nice meme
>>
>>133178997
Exactly. The whole argument for dissolution of Standard was that tbey held controlling shares in a bunch of companies and were not held directly accountable through their incorporated shelters. That's a great point that business stretching is inherently a government regulation as it had no meaning in the free beyond legal implications, such as being treated like an individual without actually being a tangible human being.
>>
>>133179435
My friend, weve been living in tiny houses forever (commieblocks) while I like having unlimited hot water from the city steam plant i dont like the 3 weeks it doesnt work for maintenance in the summer.

Most burgers would be in hell not being able to control the tempurature

When Standard Oil was broken up by the gov it was already falling apart. They couldn't keep it together because of competition from Russia, other oil fields in Texas etc. and the value of Rockefeller shares went up in value after it was broken up. Point is that 'monopolies' (and most monopolies are created as a result of gov interference btw) that aren't created by the gov have always been broken up after a while historically as a result of technological advancement. If the gov weren't involved at all we would have less monopolies.
>>
>>133179827
I'm not saying communism is the solution I'm merely noting that communists are the only ones who seem to have a valid criticism of our current situation and see through the marketing gimmicks.
>>
>>133179445
Nice comeback. Almost like you don't have an intelligent response.
Let me phrase it simply for you. If a corporation wasn't able to sue for copyright infringement, or it wasn't required to go through a litany of government inspectors to get your product approved, wouldn't it be remarkably easy to undersea a large company like standard oil? How could you have a monopoly (or defacto monopoly) if people weren't required to follow certain rules?
Finally, what if when someone sold you something that got you injured or caused damage, you could after the guy who sold the product to you instead of having to go after the company (which has money set aside for this purpose and just considers it a mild annoyance)? Nobody would sell dangerous shit if they didn't have a multimillion dollar legal fund protecting them and the ability to hide behind paperwork.

>when you're so dumb you don't even realize this is inadvertently more of a critique of communism than capitalism.

"You have too much stuff so you're compelled to share that stuff to justify having that stuff."
In this case overconsumption is being tempered by market forces. In the case of communism its tempered with a hatchet by government, the difference being that in communism you're not even allowed to leverage buying too much house by renting out rooms because you're not allowed to buy too much house in the first place.

Got any more self-defeating arguments I can shoot down?
>>
>>133180085
In america, we don't even remotely have a free market. There's literally more regulations now than ever before. The wall street kikes love it because (spoiler alert) regulations benefit big businesses.
>>
>>133180085

>>
>>133177209
hahahahaha oh my god the lack of brain power of commies never ceases to amuse me.
>>
>>133180085
It's a critique, it just hilariously isn't a critique of capitalism.

FYI people buy houses they can't afford to live in solo and rent out rooms intentionally.

It's called an apartment building. "OMG capitalism BTFO!"
>>
>>133176478
> if everyone would just act exactly like how I want them to act then we wouldn't have any problems

Literally autism: the ideology.
>>
>>133176478
Allowing women and niggers to have any more privileges than farm animals was definitely a mistake.

Allowing white men to govern themselves? Get back to me when they're given the chance.
>>
>>133180960
People used to buy houses all the time and live in them solo all the time, either way living standards are circling the drain but people are being told to celebrate their shitty situation with a smile on their face by calling it "the sharing economy", it's a massive Jewish trick.
>>
>>133178066
I didn't say I'd prefer totalitarian communism

I'd be happy with a federal government centered on the American constitution with a centralized autocracy or lifetime-appointed supreme leader to make fine-tune adjustments as needed.

None of this garbage where the entire guiding philosophy of the government can change depending on who got one more vote than the other guy
