The 30-year-old's mother, Brigid Sweetman, is also alleging Carrey gave her daughter three sexually transmitted diseases and encouraged her not to tell anyone.
In court documents reportedly obtained by E! News, Ms Sweetman accuses Carrey of “knowingly” giving her daughter diseases “without warning her” and “lying to her about it, dumping her out of concern for saving his own public image.
She also accuses the actor of calling Ms White a 'whore' and shaming her, and then using his high-priced Hollywood lawyers and 'fixers' to intimidate and threaten her in an effort to silence her”.
Ms White was found dead in her LA home four days after overdosing on the prescription medication. A coroner ruled her death a suicide.
