Does the wage gap actually exist?
Or is it just women don't want to do a man's job?

You again?
Dude(tte), just make a foot fetish thread on an appropriate board and post link.
If you have 100 people wanted to be Lawyers and only 5 wanting to be a repair man, the repair man can name his price.

The wage gap exists but not because of some imaginary patriarchy. It exists because women are far less likely to actively seek out raises than men are so men end up making more money simply because they ask.

The only way this gap exists is if you look at raw data.
Lets take IT for example. If you take every single IT professionals wages from the last 20 years and added them together you would get a clear data bias that shows women "earn less" than men, but this is largely due to a lack of data as women have only in the last 10 years or so REALLY been flooding into the workplace. I believe that if things keep their present course the numbers should even out and on a 20 year margin will show there is in fact no real wage gap based on gender
Ever notice how every business has all male employees in the field or shop or warehouse but like 90% female employees in the office? Women just don't do hard jobs.
It's the same flag every thread too

Nigga, just dump feet pics without talking or asking dumb questions.
it depends on how you look at the statistics
women making less as a whole than men? not really an issue, largely attributable to selecting less profitable career paths
making less money doing the same quality of work at the same job? that's bad

A wage gap exists, but in the way it is often presented in the media. Women are not paid less for the same work as a man. Women make less money overall because they are less likely to pursue promotions, they work less overtime, they take more vacations, they get pregnant. That is the source of the wage gap. One group of people works more with less time off and actively seek out promotions more often than the other group.

The wage gap exists, it just isn't due to systemic discrimination.
