If it's communism and just basic socialism /pol/ will typically trash it, but you have to remember national socialism is a bit different than those two. So if you want a better idea, National Socialism is about as far left as /pol/ goes.

NatSoc (Nazism) is conservative in the traditional sense, and so it is right wing -- Family, race (extension of family), and nation are promoted heavily, as are traditional norms of morality. The left-right spectrum is a product of the individuals perception of the society they're immersed in.
If you had an objectively sound spectrum (not possible but lets assume for the argument) and The Nazis fell squarely in the left, than one could still be a Nazi and be considered right wing depending on their society's political systems.
You can have two far right parties, and whichever one is furthest right would be called the right and the one to the left of it as the left even though they're far right.

The crucial difference between right-wing and left-wing ideologies is how they view social stratification.
A right-wing ideology is hierarchical, believes in competition, the social order, and (usually) EQUALITY. A left-wing ideology is a meme which posits EQUITY is both a good thing and possible.

Fact is, left or right doesn't matter. It's stupid semantics. All that matters is what they actually do once in power. National Socialism is something I adhere too. Mainly for it's focus on cultural preservation.

Fascism and National Socialism are different from Moses Hess and Marx's "socialism".

There was a much a broader movement trying to put the interests of the people and social cohesion ahead of capital before and after Marx and his associates pidgeonholed it. "Socialism" is just a label, but it has nothing do with left socialism, and a big difference is removing the influence of centrals banks.

With socialism, the government is still totally under the control of the international banks, so all you're doing by giving more power to the state is giving more power and control to the banks controlling the state through debt and currency. With national socialism, the central bank is nationalized and the economy and trading are handled internally.
