I only post this because I have had problems with my mental health and was hospitalized for a while, and everyone in the mental health field is a ""compassionate"" liberal. It all changed when I got out, due to my close friend being conservative, and actually being more exposed to issues that are tearing apart a society.

Similar thing happened to me. Went through all sorts of medical professionals for help. Nothing ever happened, they constantly pushed different drugs on me.

Depression eventually ended when I befriended a conservative who said I "look weak and girly and should work out and stop complaining about women" lol

I read this book, written by a Jewish leftist, that had chapters on the "right-wing extremism" of the British gentry. The first time I realized that the complaints people have about the Jews have (coincidentally) been the same for centuries. What is a 21st century 'conspiracy theory' or 'Nazi propaganda' was common knowledge for reasonably well-educated people in the West.

Left-wing Jewish historical scholarship, if you ignore their biased editoriaizing, is a great way to expose yourself to sources with viewpoints from the days when white gentiles were still allowed to form their own opinions: if Teddy Roosevelt's writings on e.g. the role and future of the white race were released today, he'd be branded a Nazi.

As I got older I realized that libertarianism relies on the delusion that people are rational and just actors in order for it to work well.

Since most people are moronic degenerates, I then shifted my political ideology to a more authoritarian perspective. I think what matters in governance is homogeneity because at least then it's easier for the elite to oil the machine that is society. Otherwise, with too much factionalization, the elites will just use the masses for pawns in some zero sum game and then we will all die hating each other.

9/11 was the beginning. Was 17 when it happened. Then I learned about Liveleak. I had a pretty insatiable desire to see the world without filters, as ugly as it is. Liveleak provided that outlet and over the course of years I could see the disconnect between what was happening in the world and what was chosen to be reported by the mainstream.

I won't lie, Liveleak fucked me up. This was long before it had any mature content warnings and it gave me a lot of sleepless nights. But it was reality, and it did a fantastic job redpilling me on Islam and human nature in general.

The biggest redpill though was watching the left decry the evils of Christianity while at the same time defending those evils in Islam. I think about all the centuries of struggle and pain our ancestors endured to break the shackles of Christian dogma to progress our societies forward into the Enlightenment and scientific age, then realized the left wanted to throw that all away for political points to Islam.

Then the SJW nonsense of the last 5 years was the icing on the cake. The left took up the mantle of authoritarianism, thought policing, power grabs in the form of bullying and social blackmailing/shaming, and basically everything about them disgusts me. Degeneracy isn't just a /pol/ meme, it's a real thing and they're spearheading our social and cultural collapse.

I started watching Soral's videos and reading his books some months ago, and realised liberalism (as an economic ideology, not the American societal version) puts in competition unequal countries - in terms of resources, infrastructure, even culture - and the only way for them not to get fucked is to go #noBorderz.
