"Libertarians must be radical and uncompromising conservatives" - Hans Hermann-Hoppe

This is a thread for the discussion of all ideologies that promote property rights, individual liberty and lassez-faire capitalism. These includes (but is not limited to) anarcho-capitalism, paleolibertarianism, minarchy, agorism and anti-leftism (i.e. physical removal, so to speak). All others are welcome to learn and debate us.
Reminder that this is a right-wing thread, so libertine degenerates ('live and let live' faggotry), open-border advocates and faux-libertarians (e.g. Gary Johnson) are not welcome here - people here recognise that property rights imply discrimination and a return to traditional, conservative values.
Although questions are welcome, many are repeated often, so it is recommended you research the basics first. Nobody here is obligated to debate with you, so try to avoid using fallacies in your arguments or creating unrealistic scenarios.

I just don't understand the mindset of the nuleft right now.

How can you be so fucking terrified of your federal government when somebody you don't want gets the power but think the issue is in the person and not the system?

What kind of mental gymnastics do you have to do to think that this was a fluke?

Know that while AnCapism means well and is certainly preferable to statism but is utterly inferior to Laissez-faire Capitalism. LfCap>AnCap for the same reason Minarchism>Anarchism. And that is because objective law>polycentric law. Read a little of this lexicon to discover why http://aynrandlexicon.com/lexicon/anarchism.html

Sadly, the redditors were coming here anyway due to the election. At least this makes their brain work as opposed to multicultural civic-nationalism.

People can take individualism too far in this sphere and often neglect social technology too much (marriage, patriarchy, family structure), but in many ways this more recent ancap/natcap trend is actually harder right than the lolbertarianism that always made up a substantial portion of old/pol/.

I definitely know what you mean. What I was referring to was that reddit users frequently use Ancap to falseflag d/c against the NatSoc groups here.

I agree with this screenshot but it's worded pretty badly. The right of force is generally just called freedom or personal liberty. Also philanthropy is obviously compatible with the free market as we've seen historically.

I would argue that ancapism is far less individualistic than people realize. In the absence of the state, your only safety net is your personal relationships. Your strongest personal relationships are your familial, tribal, or religious relationships, so these become much stronger than they can ever be under statism.
>pic related

Personal philanthropy works much better in the absence of the state. Under ancapism, if you want welfare, you have to ask for it from your family, friends, or your church. This means you must present yourself as someone worthy of welfare. If you are able to work but you're unwilling, the people who are actually in a position to figure this out are your close associates, not the state. There are no freeloaders. Charity often takes the form of zero-interest loans. There will be more money left over who are legitimately unable to work.

The presence of the state philanthropy also eliminates the market forces that historically gave rise to private mutualist "friendly societies" and fraternal orders.

Just wanted to ask that you add a mention of "Objectivism" It deserves a mention in the OP as it encapsulates Nationalism, Capitalism, Meritocracy, Individualism, and Libertarianism all rolled into one. And because a rejection of the evil of Altruism is sorely lacking in all other liberty-esque philosophies. Metaphysics and epistemology are sorely lacking in the OP and Objectivism provides them.
"Libertarian" is only useful as a technical qualifier and is basically incomplete Objectivism. Objectivism without the epistemology. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=erytcpYpzRk

Objectivism is far to specific for it's own general however and the amount of generals on /pol/ are starting to reach /mlp/ cancer levels.
There should be more resources from Libertarians there too, not just Ayn Rand.

I'd simply put John Galt's speech (BTFOs commies and NatSocs in equal measure) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8F5nhYo5nx4
This interview: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8F5nhYo5nx4
and something about Altruism: http://aynrandlexicon.com/lexicon/altruism.html

Am I the only one who hates the term "anarcho-capitalist"?
>>
>>132916534
No, there are better terms to use. "anarcho-capitalist" to most people means "the current system but we abolish the government overnight" - not to mention anarchy and capitalism are two 'bads' in the mind of most people.
>>
>>132917172
I would like to add that anarchy and capitalism are not the end goals of ancaps; the goal is the restoration of property rights. Anarchy and Capitalism result from property rights, but they're not the center of the ideology.
>>
>>132917453
They're linked, I suppose. With property rights comes the fact that all human interaction should be voluntary, and since the state is a coercive entity, and capitalism is a system of voluntary exchange, you must by definition have those two to live in a truly free society.
>>
>>132916534
No
>>
>>132916534
No. Also hate it. You cant maintain libertarian values without the state to apply anti trust action against subversive business interests
