So don't get into content production for the sake of a paycheck, get into it because you have something worth saying, and something others will find worth reading. Throughout the medieval era entertainers were despised as being among the lowest class of careers, they aggregate wealth from the masses and produce nothing of tangible benefit to their lives. You don't have a right to be paid just because you put something out. It's another reason why people aren't bothering to participate/produce in society. This isn't a bad thing, it's just how it is. Even without anything new being produced, there is still more content available to consumers than they could ever hope to process.
