sacramento is where the river flows of weed, it has nice weather, rains often in the autumn and fall, based people, and great wine

Everyone is liberal except in Orange County, where I'm from (very conservative but more the neocon type). Is it THAT bad? No. You just go about your everyday life, even if surrounded by liberals. You can still have friends and go get dinner and yadda yadda. Too expensive though. I may never own a home out here. Very Hispanic and Asian too. Being white means your opportunities are getting pinched

Really depends on the region. Northern Cali is nice and comfy. People are decent, lots of open spaces. My grandparents lived just north of Redding for years and loved it. Its the cities that are the problem. LA, San Fran, San Diego are garbage dumps. Sacramento is getting bad too.
