The waters means the multitude of nations, which in the bible means tribes/races/ethnicities. Not sure about the rest of it without going into speculation.

there are two "beasts" in revelation. one comes after the other . the second one makes the world worship the first beast and establish a a one world currency with embedded chips (the mark).

I think that the first beast is islam and the second beast is socialism. babylon (the whore, the great city, etc) is probably dubai, sort of this opulent capital of islam. socialists will join with muslims and establish islam as a world religion to get rid of christianity, but will eventually turn on dubai because it was a means to an end.

Chilton very persuasively argues that the initial fulfillment of the prophecies in Revelation and Matthew 24 occurred when the Temple was destroyed in 70AD. It is remarkable to see how Josephus's account of the destruction of Temple matches up with the prophecies of Scripture; Chilton goes into some detail on this. The pdf is authorized by the publisher (however, I'd suggest you skip the longwinded "Publisher's Preface"; I note that the book itself is crisply and engagingly written).
