Russia's war against Georgia goes against its narrative of Orthodoxy
The only UN member country it has fought against in this century was an Orthodox country. Russia employed muslim chechens against its co-religionists to pursue its imperialistic, assimilationist, slavicizing policy.
Christianity is cosmopolitan, love it or hate it. especially Eastern Orthodoxy, where vernaculars were respected for centuries, unlike Catholicism, where the various nations were forced to pray and serve in Latin, a foreign language
and Russia, the so called protector of Orthodox faith, is only fightning other Orthodox countries, for their wish to be in a better place than a corrupt, hypocrite post-soviet swamp that is so entrenched in this culture
It fights Eastern Orthodox (not even heretical Oriental Orthodox, like Armenian and Copt) nations of Georgians and Ukrainians and you still believe that Russia gives a rat's ass about Orthodoxy?
