As I walk through the largest shopping centre in my city, I see ordinary people. They make me sick. Sucking the teat of the global financiers. Falling deeper and deeper into materialistic consumption and self-absorption. All social interaction is contrived and not one of them realises that they live in a cave or have grappled with the despair only the truly alive feel. How well versed are they in Shakespeare? In theology? Philosophy even? Capitalism has only improved our lives quantitatively while it has decimated our lives qualitatively.

"Capitalism has only improved our life by improving access tangible products and consumables that satisfy base needs and pleasure seeking. This inversely affects the more nuaced aspects of life such as; art, culture, socialization, and general well being that are integral in healthy societies."
