722,000 asylum claims in 2016 (half of them from 2015, but only accepted in 2016)
548,000 Muslims (thereof 243,000 Syrians, 116,000 Afghans, 51,000 Iraqis, 10,000 Russians, 14,000 Pakis) - Afghans are now routinely rejected and deported, Pakis are 99% rejected and deported, Iraq is next once the dust of Mosul settles - can't do anything about those Russian Muslims, Putin doesn't take back the Chechens
88,000 claimed to be Christian (16,000 Iran, 16,000 Eritrea, 12,000 Nigeria, 7,000 Syria)
42,000 claimed to be Yazidis (37,000 Iraq, 4,000 Syria)
Christians and Yazidis are generally ok.
I feel much better now, seems to me that the problem is a lot less than reported.

Dude, Yazidis are white enough for me. I have no beef with them. They are generally working, have no fucked up beliefs and are integrating well. They like Germany and are thankful for being taken in. Very different situation for e.g. Muslims from Iraq - they are bitching most of the time and complain that Germany isn't a Sharia country.

Typically American. You cannot distinguish between problematic immigrants and immigrants who are actually ok. I have no beef with Slavs, Iranian Christians and Yazidis. Why should I? They contribute, they are calm, they work, they like Germany. Why hate them?
It is very different for most Muslims, who pretty much all feel entitled, do not work and do not want to integrate... are loud and radical.
