I'd say to never take anyone down unless it's guaranteed to be 1 vs 1. If going to the ground is 100 percent your thing, never give up top position to go for an armbar, heel hook etc. Just take side control or north/south and knee the ever loving shit out of their head.

IMO one should focus on boxing and wrestling for revolution h2h fighting.
Need to be able to move in and out quickly and stuff takedowns and takedown and control at will if need be. Most kicks are to fancy for multiple opponents and BJJ is a waste of time when you consider group fighting.
Boxing, wrestling, know how to use a handgun, rifle and a bit of knifefighting skills and you'll be ready for most scenarios.
