Do labor laws & regulations (including ACA) hurt workers? On the one hand, they ensure that people who put in a lot of time get good compensation, but on the other hand, it means that businesses would rather hire more people to fulfill that time while giving each person less than full time hours, which hurts each person's earnings and can necessitate finding another part time job. Personally, I've found this to be the case for myself very often, and I've grown increasingly resentful of these laws, but I'm not sure that these businesses wouldn't just fuck me without them. What do you think, /pol/?
