I don't know, I don't really see the United States as one bad president away from collapse. If Hillary did get elected, we'd probably have set down a road there was no coming back from without some serious violence though, I'll agree with that.

Also, I will admit that Obama was pretty marx-y. Especially when you consider his past. Despite that, most of his bullshit was blocked by congress. Which brings us back to my point about marxism having a hard time getting a foothold in American politics. HRC would've instigated a civil war, but it still would take years to develop, and even then would be protracted for a decade or two.
MLM's don't really want to gain a foothold in American politics per say, but to bring the state to failure. Communists know that if they act too soon they will be killed like the vermin they are. So they set up United Fronts to hide behind, like BLM etc.
The idea that Communists will take control of the government is false, however. This is because MLM's believe that the state must be destroyed instead of reformed.

Some earlier communist thinkers may have been Darwinian in thinking (evolution of society), but under Stalin they were anti-Darwinian in that they didn't believe competition could be beneficial in nature, hence Lysenkoism.
