The idea is that your primary long arm should be as compatible with your nations military and police forces as possible. Either because you will support them in case of invasion by a foreign power, or outright hostility by domestic terrorists and rebels, or because you are going to be fighting against the military and police of your country.

I'm not a traitor. So my reasoning for getting an AR-15 over a Cz.58 is to be as compatible with state security mechanisms in case of a catastrophic event that forces my participation.

This is why you should sell your meme rifle and get a real gun, you commie faggot.

A national gun database is what you reasonably expect the FBI to be recording as a consequence of running the NICS checks, even though they claim otherwise.

Listing the gun wouldn't be important anyway. Anybody could private sale a gun, get one from family, or lose it in a horrible boating accident. The metadata would be the relevant bit if they ever wanted to make use of it.

According to the statistics, tens of thousands of Americans use their firearms every year to ward off violence against. Guns are used far more often to defend a person, most often without having to fire a shot, than commit a crime.

So yeah, the guys here might not have had the opportunity, but plenty of people have and we learn from their experience. I have been in a position to save someone's life here in Canada... But obviously, I was prohibited from carrying.

For a bolt-action precision rifle used exclusively as a sniper weapon? No, they can never be too accurate.

For something being used in any sort of firefight, where you're firing lots of rounds and the barrel is going to heat up and lose accuracy? Yeah, there is such a thing as "too much" because accuracy becomes a game of diminishing returns. There's a reason why modern high-dollar military kit like the SCAR, even ones designed to be battle rifles or DMR rifles, are only optimized for 1-2MOA max. That's really all you need out of that kind of gun.

Although this is true, don't forget to take into account that the higher velocity of a round out of, say, a 20" barrel, means it's going to maintain gyroscopic stability for longer and therefore maintain its accuracy better at range (as well as having a longer effective range), so a longer barrel being more accurate is true in a sense.

The velocity loss of an 11.5" barrel is quite substantial, particularly when you consider that some variations of 5.56 are going to be below the fragmentation threshold right out of the muzzle. Even with other variations of 5.56, you're still going to be limiting your effective range by an appreciable degree.

I just find it funny all these pseudo-intellectual gun owners blow 800 on an optic for an intermediate rifle cartridge chambered carbine and LARP like they will be effective past 500 yards in a realistic scenario against a person who thought shit out and bought a Rem 700 for long range shooting

The first thing I ever shot was a 4' potato canon with a 3" diameter barrel and some paper towels used as wadding. I was amazed it hit exactly what I was aiming at.

First real gun was some kind of AK clone. The only thing more shocking than how quiet it was and how little it kicked was that I had no idea what I'd hit because actually the barrel was kicking up way more than I ever expected.

Practice is everything.

This is so fucking retarded, 1000x rounds of 762x39 is not that large of a box, and you would never, EVER, need more than that in a civil war. Also, the logic still stands, if you need the states weapons, just take their fucking weapons after you kill them. I've been a gun owner for many years now. I used to practice a few hours a week at the shooting range, and I eventually ranked myself to a good position in some local competitions. Still, I came to a revealing conclusion : given guns don't kill people but people kill people with guns, defending yourself is only a matter of free will. When this come to my mind, I realized I won't need guns anymore. The real power was me. The only thing I needed was to develop that power. I thus spent a lot of nights looking for answers and techniques to enhance myself. I eventually found guide on how to develop what they call telekinesis. This was several years ago.

Fast forward to today. I'm able to blew anything in within my 20 feet range by the only power of my brain, and I'm still enhancing myself.

Don't fool yourselves guys. You don't need any tool to protect yourself. Nature has given you anything you could need in a dangerous situation. You just have to dedicate yourself and release your inner energy.

Firstly it takes about 3mo on average to achieve the CNS adaptation you need to break a habit. So until then you might want to think about various 1 tricks doctors don't want you do know about. Set meal times, down a bunch of water 30m in advance to stretch you stomach and avoid cross-signals between hunger and hydration, loads of vegetable mass until you're pumping out two big shits a day, spicy things or whatever else provides replacement pleasure, adjust your food in general to things that satisfy (might include revisiting whether you might be a person who needs more fats) etc.
