So... I'm having an identity crisis here. I'm an American and firmly believe in absolute freedom, I don't particularly identify with any political ideology, but if I had to put a label on myself I'd call myself libertarian.

But the way things are going, I'm starting to think democracy was a mistake. The vast majority of people are astoundingly stupid. Democracy and capitalism are such a good system that it leads to decadence and so much comfort that people's need for conflict, and no problems to combat, they create their own problems, and the system eats itself alive. See what we are going through now, it is exactly what the Greeks went through before their collapse.

Facism is a good idea on paper, but the problem is you need a Christ or Buddha like dictator, and such a thing does not exist.

What is a good and realistic political system to run a society?

No political society is perfect, humans are by design imperfect creatures.

It's the circle of history and probably can't be avoided.

All are equally worthless or worthwhile, depending on your outlook. Hoomans are adapticus generaliticus like squirrels, they'll adapt the whatever political ideology is imposed upon them

There is no "perfect" model society, but democracy is as good as it gets (so far)
>>

The irony is that people are stupid in democratic countries because of lack of breeding. Humans are animals just like dogs or cattle. The way we'd traditionally solve this is by a dictator who would kill people via war, and then the'd be peace. You'd repeat this process.

Democracy is kike garbage desu senpai
A democratically elected government will not consistently act in the best interests of the public because they role selects only for people who are good at being elected.
Deceivers, manipulators, pathological liars, greedy kikes, attention whores, and power-hungry maniacs will fill the ranks of the most critical positions of your nation's government under a democratic system. There is basically 0% chance that you get anyone of value into those positions because the process of election itself filters out any good and honest people.

This. Utopia is a myth.

I believe an epistemic democratic model is best. This is a hybrid between democracy and technocracy, where people can only 'vote' and form policy on areas they can demonstrate sufficient knowledge. As such each person will have a competence, but a single individual cannot have influence over all areas of policy. If you are a doctor, you form policy in relation the health and nothing more etc. Technology like crowd sourcing can easily make this happen in an internet age. It maintains a 'free' democracy label in that policy emerges from the people, but it weeds out ignorance.

>>132597670
Not being an idealougue is being free. It give you the ability to contemplate so many perspectives and keeps you critically thinking as opposed to trying to lock a mad world in to a perfect little square and shutting out reason.
Why are you trying to fit in some where?

I won't argue with anything you said (except I think it's Greek garbage - recently co-opted by kikes) but it's still the best humanity has done so far.

natural fallacy

Real democratic socialism my friend.

Well there's your issue.

No system is perfect. Honestly, politics is largely action/reaction with decisions benefiting various groups over others. Ideally decisions should be made to benefit either the largest number of people, or the most deserving.

Then there's idealism vs palatability. In my ideal society I would have eugenics. But that's not very palatable in current society, so if I were actually running for politics, I would compromise. That's where a lot of right wing extremists go wrong. They refuse to compromise, so they alienate everyone and live in fantasy land.

I consider myself spiritually right wing. As a whole system, I would want an altered democracy. Where you have to take an unbiased test on political understanding, and possible benefits and detriments of policy. The more comprehensive and difficult the tests you take, the more your vote is worth. If you don't pay taxes, you don't get to vote on economic policy.

I also believe there should be a fourth branch of government dedicated to finances with the following principles:
-Only spend more than what what you have in emergencies.
-Aim to have a surplus in hard currency as well as foreign investment for when bad times do come around.
-Have 20 year strategic economic plans in regards to state assets, rather than shitty 3 year election plans where you can keep passing the 'fucked up economy' buck to the next Prime Minister.

While racemixing and degeneracy should be actively discouraged by the state, they shouldn't be outright banned for the sake of personal liberties.

Jewish institutions that detriment society should be fully dismantled by the state, removing them from key positions in banking, cinema, tertiary education etc, instead of genociding all jews.

Isolation and cooperation. Cut the majority of foreign aid. Don't go to war half the world away. Stop taking refugees. Focus immigration from similar societies.

And unlike most right wingers, and despite being in the military I advocate for the defunding of the military over time for New Zealand. Our military serves us very little domestic benefit.

I would keep:
-Special forces
-A very small infantry company (for regimental purposes)
-Search and Rescue assets
-Some civil disaster response assets (such as engineers).

Most of the other areas are just funding drains that don't benefit New Zealand citizens.

I'd legalise marijuana simply for taxation purposes, reducing Police budget needed, and giving possibility of lowering income taxes.

I also believe in a 'red line' system for criminals. For juvenial and infrequent offenders, we put resources towards rehabilitating them towards becoming upstanding members of society again. Once it becomes clear they're going to keep reoffending, they should be put on a remote island, or made to do modern day pay per view gladiator fights. (Ideally). I'd also reinstate the death penalty.

I'd allow gay people to marry and have rights, but would actively discourage anti-nuclear family activity in society.

It is simple. Most political system lack one very important thing.
Purpose. The spiritual desire to be part of a greater thing.
That's why i became NatSoc.
And no, religion does not bring that, because it has no goal but itself.
>>
You can make many different political systems work as long as you can be sure that all politicians have the best interest of the people in mind. Make politicians accountable for their actions. If the consequences for failure or acting against the will / interests of the people were more severe than just not getting re-elected or getting transfered to a different position or having to resign with an insane compensation & pension things would already improve. The difficulty lies in defining what the best interest of the people is.
