Who can we contact at At&T, customer service , some VP in charge of mergers etc, to voice our opinion that they should drop the deal with Time Warner due to what a joke CNN has become?
We need to crash this plane with no survivors.
(missed last thread any updates on this?)

Too bold. We won't influence whether or not they think it is a good investment to complete the merger.
We can, however, influence whether advertisers think its a good investment to advertise with CNN. That's where our focus should be.

they're already hedging their bets and unsure if they even want CNN anymore

Got this from a previous thread about it.
How to start the fire / Kill a Deal:
1. Institutional shareholders need to vote on the deal for the merger go to through
2. AT&T (aka. T US Equity) stockholders must approve the merger
3. Anyone who purchases 1 share of T US can register a protest with ISS Proxy Services to block the merger.
4. Register a e-trade or cheap Scott trade account. It takes 1 day if you have a SSN & bank account.
5. Buy the October Calls on T US. Sell T US stock short. You only need 1 share.
6. Contact the following services and register a protest vote using your Call options which have a 100x multiple against the deal.
7. Your US$ 38.25/sh just fucked with CNN
8. Register your protest in CNN with AT&T Investor Relations and Public Communications.
9. Inform ISS you want to register your protest and have them distribute your protest to every other shareholder.
Key shareholders to blow up the deal:
- Vanguard
- Blackrock
- State Street
-Evercore
- BNY Mellon
- Bank of America
- Wells Fargo
- Ameriprise Fin
- UBS
Disclaimer: This is not a professional stock tip to trade T US. Do not rely on this for making an investment decision.

That's good to hear. Personally, I think the best way to make them reconsider the merger would be for them to conclude that CNN has poor brand equity and is therefore a poor investment. And the best way to hurt their brand equity is to discourage advertisers from advertising with them.
Contacting AT&T is just telling them that they shouldn't merge. Contacting the advertisers is showing them why they shouldn't merge.

How is this merger not a monopoly?

does this we can all buy one share and we get a vote?
Maybe we should rev up the autism to make this dream a reality so we can live in the CNN is worthless timeline?
