Years ago, /pol/ was just a board people shitposted in and had fun with. I remember back when it wasn't even right leaning. But with the influx of reddit and storm users, /pol/ was forced to become a weird hybrid of shitpostimg autists, legitimate right wing nazis, and edgy kids looking for antihumor. The amount of far right people that got upset with their home-site and migrated to /pol/ kept increasing and with the election of Trump, the average /pol/ user was now some edgy 14 year old redditor with controversial opinions, but really only here to meme.
Just look at /mlpol/, the board that was here for a day and it was the best day for most of the legitimate /pol/ users. The kids on reddit couldn't handle it and thought /pol/ was being raided by leftist bronies. The board became a pile of shit and fun again, just like how it used to be.

So, yeah. /pol/ died with the election of Trump. Now, with Kekistan, this is obviously just kids that don't realize how autistic they are until they see themselves do it.
