it was a mistake for America to engage militarily with the Axis Powers

first off, the Nazis would have wiped out even more of the Soviet Union. maybe they would've killed Stalin. we could have skipped the Cold War and all the wasteful nuke building.

second, we should have let the Nazi and fascist systems run their courses. they got a free pass in the eyes of history because they got beaten militarily. if their economies would have failed, it would have been better proof to the world that their systems were fucked.
